Industries We Build AI Platforms For | intelliwAIve

Industries

# We build for the industries the world depends on to grow, produce and supply.

Not every industry gets an intelliwAIve platform, and not yet. We would rather build one properly than announce five we have not started. Here is what is live, what an industry has to prove before we build for it, and how to put yours in front of us.

[See vinwAIve, live in wine →](https://www.intelliwaive.com/vinwaive?hsLang=en) [Put your industry forward](https://www.intelliwaive.com/contact?hsLang=en)

**Live**

Wine, across Australia and New Zealand

**Four tests**

Every industry has to pass all of them

**One architecture**

Reused, never recycled as a generic product

**Deliberate**

We do not announce what we have not started

The temptation in this business is to claim ten sectors and build none of them. **An industry platform earns its name by knowing how that industry makes money, in detail, before a single screen is drawn.** That takes time, and it is not something you can do in ten places at once.

**intelliwAIve builds one AI platform per industry, and only for industries that pass four tests.** Fragmented operational and financial data, a measurable cost to finding out too late, real variance between units that averages hide, and a buyer organised enough to act on the answer.

Wine is live today through vinwAIve. We build one platform at a time, and we do not announce industries we have not started.

The filter

## Four tests. An industry has to pass all four.

Plenty of industries would benefit from better software. Far fewer have the specific shape of problem an intelliwAIve platform is built to solve. These are the tests we apply, and the questions we ask to know whether the answer is yes.

![Rows tracked individually](https://www.intelliwaive.com/hs-fs/hubfs/vinwaive-vineyard-rows.jpg?width=2400&height=1600&name=vinwaive-vineyard-rows.jpg)

Four tests, applied before a single screen is drawn.

01

### Fragmented data

Operational and financial information trapped across spreadsheets, notebooks and disconnected systems, with no single source of truth and no agreement on which copy is current.

**How we test it**

Ask three people in the same business the same commercial question. If you get three answers and each can defend theirs, the data is fragmented in the way that matters.

**What rules it out**

One well-run ERP that already carries operations and finance in the same structure. Nothing left for us to join.

02

### A real cost to not knowing

A measurable financial consequence when the problem surfaces too late. Not a visibility gap somebody would like closed, a number that shows up in the accounts when it is not.

**How we test it**

Ask what the last avoidable surprise cost, and whether anyone can put a figure on it. If the answer is a shrug, the urgency is not there yet.

**What rules it out**

Industries where the margin is set by contract or regulation and better information changes nothing anyone is allowed to act on.

03

### Unit-level variance that averages hide

Real spread between the best and worst unit, whether that unit is a vineyard section, a production line, a site, a batch or a client account, and a headline figure that conceals it.

**How we test it**

Ask for the top and bottom performing unit by contribution. If nobody can produce that list without a week of work, the variance is real and invisible.

**What rules it out**

Highly uniform operations where every unit behaves the same way and the average genuinely describes the business.

04

### A buyer ready to act

Operators commercially sophisticated enough to want the answer, and organised enough to do something with it once they have it. Intelligence nobody acts on is a cost, not an asset.

**How we test it**

Ask what would change next week if the answer arrived tomorrow. A specific answer means a platform will get used. A vague one means it will not.

**What rules it out**

Businesses that want the reassurance of a system rather than the consequences of one.

Live

## Wine: vinwAIve

Wine passed all four tests before we wrote a line of it. Data scattered across production systems, spreadsheets and an accountant. A cost of not knowing that shows up in every vintage. Enormous variance between blocks that estate averages bury. And owners who will act the moment they can see it.

vinwAIve carries a cost from a named vineyard section through winemaking, packaging and route to market, then reports margin per nine litre equivalent, per wine product. It is AI-native rather than AI-added, and it is in market across Australia and New Zealand.

Wine was first because the problem was sharpest here.

How a platform gets built

## Four phases, in this order, every time.

This is the part most software companies do backwards. The interface is the last thing we build, not the first.

Phase one

### Pair with an operator

We do not start with research. We start with somebody who has run the industry and can tell us which numbers are load-bearing and which are theatre.

Phase two

### Build the economic model

How costs allocate, how units convert, how an operational event becomes a financial consequence. Argued out against the operation, not the whiteboard.

Phase three

### Prove it on real data

Run a completed period from a real business through the model and check the output against what that business actually experienced. If it does not reconcile, the model is wrong.

Phase four

### Build the platform

Only now does it become software: the interface, the permissions, the audit trail and the AI that reasons across the model rather than around it.

What comes next

## We do not announce industries we have not started.

There is a version of this page with a grid of logos and a set of sectors marked coming soon. It would be easy to write and it would tell you nothing about whether we can build for you.

We work on one platform at a time and we say so when it is real. If your industry passes the four tests above, the useful conversation is not whether you are on a roadmap. It is whether the problem is expensive enough, the data is reachable enough, and there is someone in your business ready to act on the answer.

That is a conversation we will have properly, under an NDA if you would prefer, and we will tell you plainly if the fit is not there.

Bring us a problem

### Tell us where your data goes to die.

The most useful thing you can send us is not an industry name. It is the specific question your business cannot answer today, who needs the answer, and what it costs when it arrives late.

If you are a consultant or an operator who sees this pattern across a sector, we particularly want to hear from you. You already know where the bodies are buried.

Questions

## What operators and advisors ask about how we choose an industry.

### Which industries does intelliwAIve build AI platforms for?

intelliwAIve builds for industries that grow, produce and supply physical goods. Wine is live today through vinwAIve. Every other industry has to pass four tests before we commit: fragmented operational and financial data, a measurable cost to not knowing, genuine unit level variance hidden by averages, and a buyer ready to act on the answer. We build one platform at a time and we do not announce industries we have not started.

### What makes an industry a good fit for an AI platform?

The strongest fit is an industry where the unit that makes or loses the money is not the unit the reporting is built on. That gap, between a block, line, batch, site or account and the entity level figures in the ledger, is where margin disappears unnoticed. Add data spread across disconnected systems and a commercially sophisticated operator, and an industry platform will pay for itself quickly.

### Why build one platform per industry instead of one general product?

Because the hard work does not generalise. Deciding how a shared cost allocates, how tonnes become litres become nine litre equivalents, or how a maintenance event becomes a margin consequence is specific to an industry and cannot be configured in later. A general product pushes that modelling work onto the customer, which is exactly the work most customers do not have the time or the data discipline to do.

### How long does it take to build a new industry platform?

It depends on the complexity of the industry's cost structure, not on the software. The sequence is always the same: pair with an operator who has actually run the industry, build the economic model, prove it against a completed period of real data, then build the platform. Timelines are agreed after the modelling work is scoped, and we would rather give you a firm answer late than an optimistic one early.

### Can we suggest an industry, or bring you a problem?

Yes, and it is the conversation we most want. The most useful thing to send is not an industry name but the specific commercial question your business cannot answer today, who needs the answer, and what it costs when it arrives late. Consultants and operators who see the same pattern repeatedly across a sector are particularly welcome, because they already know where the problem sits.

### Do you work outside Australia and New Zealand?

Our first market is Australia and New Zealand, which is where vinwAIve is live and where our founders operate. The architecture is not region specific, and wine in particular is a global industry with the same cost and margin problems in every producing country. We will have the conversation, and we will be straight with you about what we can support well from here.

### Does intelliwAIve replace the systems an industry already runs?

No. Every intelliwAIve platform is an intelligence layer that sits above existing production, accounting, compliance and operational systems. Those systems keep doing what they are good at. We connect them and answer the commercial question none of them was designed to answer, which means adoption does not require ripping anything out.

One architecture, as many industries as we can build properly

## Wine proved the model works.

If your industry runs on fragmented operational and financial data, and the decisions that move your margin are made on partial information, that is the exact problem we exist to solve.
